Riverside Blues

I’ve done it before and I’m doing it again. This song is about life, you grow up and you pass a number of major events. You learn how to walk, talk, you go to school, you graduate, you go to the university, you move out, you meet a partner, you move together, you get a job and later on maybe a family. You made everything that you’re supposed to do, but! Now you’re an adult and you don’t view life in the same way as before. People that you grew up with are getting old and pass away. You realize that this is only going to continue and you’re own major event in your own life might be the end. Depressing? Yes … What is the purpose of life? I don’t know. But we can’t do anything about it.

I wanted to continue with the warm and round guitar sound I created for my previous release. Along with smashing drums and a huge snare, the chorus sounds like one pick out of a real banger.
