Do you ever get that feeling, that you’re not getting anywhere and every attempt of progress is handing you yet another setback? Our world today is stuck in a state where we want to move on into the future but our lack of self awareness is our biggest opponent. It drains our energy and put us in a state where we don’t think that it’s worth trying again because it won’t make a difference anyway.

This song is inspired by hard rock from the early 80’s and forward. A very simple riff and chord progression is reused throughout the song. To create a feeling of standing still, the drum beat in the chorus puts the snare drum on the first hit instead of the second.
