Today I have the pleasure of announcing big news! I’ve been working on a project for some time, the prupose with this project has been to create vintage style rock music with influences from the 60’s and 70’s. The outcome of this project is a “band” called The Formans.
Ok, so you might wonder where I got that name from and that’s a valid question that has a good answer. I’m picturing myself a band that are playing in a basement during the 70’s. I really liked That 70’s show when it aired like 20 years ago, I borrowed the surname from one of the series main character Eric Forman. Since most of the great bands back in the days had “The” in front of them, I also added that.
The goal with this project is to keep writing, recording and releasing music as long as there’s an audience and an interest. I’m mainly going to focus on releasing the songs along with lyric videos on my YouTube channel and my ambitions are to release one song per month. The first song will be released on the 9th of July 2021. The title of that song is “Hanna come on”. It’s going to be fun to see how people react to this one.
I might be doing a mistake giving up EDM for Rock, but that’s what originally brought me into making music in the first place. I’m only following my heart.
