Last year, during the spring, I took the step and launched my own label with the goal to make it on my own. So how’s it going? Well, it turned out to be a bit harder than I expected to get traction, it takes a lot of effort and promotion in order to reach out to a potential audience. My goal was never to reach a huge number of streams, my goal was (and is still) to find the people who enjoy what I’ve created.

Never being able to finish
To those of you who decided to follow and support what I do, big thank you. I don’t want to make you disappointed. Therefore, I’ve been putting way too much effort into each ongoing project. But, that’s a problem since that is an obstacle of ever being able to finish anything.
I had to put some projects on ice for a while, because I was too picky about everything. I never became satisfied and when I strived too much for perfection, the music lost its soul and feeling.
How did I manage to move forward? Well, I forced myself to stop working on the projects for several weeks. Then I went back into the history and found results that weren’t perfect in any way, but the feeling was there.
The upcoming music will not be perfect, it will contain chords, notes, tonal imperfections etc. that doesn’t meet my perfectionist disorder. But at least they tell something and that’s what’s most important.
